The KwaZulu International Cruise Terminal is situated within the perimeters of Durban Harbour and is managed by KCT.
Pilotage
Pilotage is compulsory. Fifteen minutes prior to entering the Traffic Separation Scheme, advance through VHF Radio on channel 14. Pilot ladders must comply with SOLAS regulations.
All vessels with freeboard in excess of nine metres must have an accommodation ladder rigged in conjunction with the pilot ladder.
Man ropes must be provided. The pilot boarding area is located off the Fairway Buoy and ships master should radio for instructions.

- Tugs meet the vessel at the harbour entrance
- All tugs are fitted for firefighting and salvage
